General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a BMET II. Maintains, calibrates, repairs, ands overhauls Army's inventory of medical equipment. Includes equipment within the APS, units returning from deployments, MRI converted units, and equipment on USAMMA's stock record account. Must have a broad range of medical equipment maintenance experience. Performs technical inspections, repairs, PMCS calibration services, overhaul, maintenance, and data input using current applicable Army automation system to include DMLSS, SAMS, and others.
Sets up and operates equipment, test apparatus, test equipment, and related equipment; Records test procedures and results, performs routine analysis and calculations, and makes recommendations for changes in equipment, product or test method; Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians, and may have supervisory responsibilities; May serve as a team leader; Participates in special projects as required.
Military experience preferred especially from BMET School at Sheppard y service, knowledge and experience preferred. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. Knowledge of Army medical sets and equipment. 2. Knowledge of Depot work. 3. Ability to travel min. of 50% of time.

Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Must have graduated from accredited BMET trainig program or military BMET school. Preferred AS degree or equivalent educational experience toward 2 yr degree.
Requires 2-4 years experience. Recent BMET experience preferred. Ability to travel, and/or work alternate work week schedule as Gov't customer requires.
Work schedule may vary between five 8-hour days or four 10- hour days.
