Our client requires the services of a Cost Management Specialist with the following:
Evaluate financial procedures
Conduct cost benefit analysis and life cycle costing
Develop business plans
Assist in developing costs for specific activities such as: a) Direct project costs; b) Project support overhead; c) Corporate and administrative (C&A) overhead; d) Costs of products and services; and e) Other related costs;
Determine the resources required for implementation of projects such as acquisition costs, operation and maintenance costs and both recurring and non-recurring costs
Perform risk analysis
Develop models to carry out cost analysis of the resources required to perform specific work
Manage cost budgeting by establishing cost baseline based on WBS or activities
Provide cost control measures and mechanisms
Prepare and control budgets
Provide reports; and other related Cost Management Specialist services
MANDATORY:
Candidates MUST MEET the following mandatory criteria in order to qualify for consideration
60 months within the last 120 months (10yrs) in a cost management role providing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk analysis and guidance on all operational accounting matters on any project
24 months applying an automated financial/cost management system
