Technology Associates is always looking for exceptional individuals to join our team. We are currently building our candidate bench of Budget Analysts. Summary:Under limited supervision provides financial and budget analysis services to support Technology Associates Clients. Management Scope:This position has no direct reports. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent experience * Knowledge of financial and budget management functions in government and/or military financial sectors * Understanding of the Department of Defense the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) System * Familiarity with the Department of Defense structure and organization. * General knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) financial practices to include lines of accounting, obligation and expenditure rates, and budget closeout * General knowledge of the congressional/legislative appropriations process * Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Technical, analytical and problem solving skills * Professional written and verbal communication skills * Ability to participate and work in a team environment * Time management and organizational skills * Ability to obtain/maintain the required level of security clearance, Secret clearance
Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform government financial analyst functions. * Support budget planning, execution and program development. * Prepare for Government review answers to Congressional, Department of Defense, Department of Navy and other queries regarding enterprise orders and financial status. * Track obligations, expenditures, de-obligations and budgets of activities across various financial appropriations. * Conduct research on funding expended in support of legacy network systems and application in the Department of the Navy. * Prepare Funding Authorization Documents (FAD) * Domestic travel as required. * Other duties as required.
