Title: Business Analyst Skills: Business Analysis, Logical Design Documentation, UAT, .NET web application environment, State Govt. / Public Sector !!! Date: 8-23-2010 Description: My client has an immediate need for a Business Analyst who can work onsite in Albany, NY Trigyn is a direct vendor to the client. Candidate MUST have all the REQUIRED SKILLS. Any work experience with State Govt. / Public Sector is highly preferred REQUIRED SKILLS: *Bachelor's degree and four years experience performing Business Analysis or an Associate's degree and six years experience performing Business Analysis. *Minimum of (5) years experience examining the methods and processes of the business flow within a diverse public or private service delivery organization. *Minimum of (5) years experience assessing and documenting existing business processes and identifying unnecessary steps. *Minimum of (5) years experience incorporating value-added steps into a new process through the translation of business practices into terminology and desk products that seamlessly merge computer and microcomputer technology with work processes. *Minimum of (5) years experience assessing and documenting existing business processes and identifying where improvements can be made or where new processes can be installed. (Pass/Fail) *Minimum of (5) years experience researching *best practices* of comparable organizations and analyzing the feasibility of installing them where needed. *Minimum of (5) years experience developing new methods and procedures, implementation plans and schedules, and written reports. Desirable Experience Preferred *Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with experiences working with IT personal and application users. *Ten (10) years experience performing -Technical Unit product testing -Leading User Acceptance Testing -Communication of bugs to technical staff -Validating system responses against the business requirements including coordinating and scheduling of this effort Preferably in a .Net web application environment. *Ten (10) or more years demonstrated experience working directly with the customer analyzing current business processes, related system use and data flow, and recommending alternative business processes, system processes and data flow to customer/end users. *Eight (8) or more years demonstrated experience: *Identifying and documenting business processes, rules, application user requirements and data flows *Documenting complex security requirements. *Producing Logical Design documents from which developers can create a technical design using Visio *Experience performing these tasks for large, complex, object oriented .Net web systems is preferred. Other Qualifications: *Eight (8) years or more demonstrated experience performing business analysis in Support of Human Services applications in support of Day Care and Adoption applications. *Four (4) year or more demonstrated experience defining the business process interfaces between Human Service and Criminal Justice applications. *Four (4) years or more demonstrated experience performing business process analysis for applications which processed individual fingerprints results.
