Overview
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work as a Business Analyst for several projects that focus on storage, Servers and databases. As a result, it would be of great benefit if you have worked on projects that have involved HP Servers; Netapp Storage; Oracle and SQL Server databases; Windows Server 2008; Linux; Networks; VMWare; etc.
Qualifications
7+ years of overall Business Analysis experience
Formal training and/or designation related to requirements gathering and business analysis techniques
A proven track record of working with staff at all levels within an organization
Proven track record of working on IT related Infrastructure projects
Proven BA skills when it come to critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources; reconciling conflicts; decomposing high-level information into details; being able to abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding; and distinguishing user requests from underlying true needs
Solid/proven documentation standards
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver artifacts as needed
Proven ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously as well as work independently with users to define concepts (under the direction of program and project managers)
Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project experience
Proven experience writing technical reports/evaluations (project charters and supporting documentation/experience would also be very beneficial)
Proficient knowledge of IT infrastructure including Datacenters, Networks, Storage, Servers, SQL Server and Oracle databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts, etc.
Excellent team and collaborative skills
Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
The ability to be adaptable and demonstrate stress tolerance
