General Summary:
 
This role within the Systems Control Group (SCG) in Dell's Corporate Finance Systems organization involves leveraging both finance and systems process skills to support the implementation of reorganizations and acquisitions into our finance systems, including DRM and downstream systems (HFM, Hyperion Planning, Oracle, etc).  This role also includes the coordination of any remapping or restatement work necessary as a result.
 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
 
This individual will be acting as a subject matter expert of DRM, HFM, Hyperion Planning, Oracle and other downstream systems relative to significant maintenance changes, including major reorgs, remappings and restatements. 
 
This role will involve decision-making that could have a significant negative impact on the application, so applicant must be comfortable making critical decisions under pressure.  Additionally, strong communication skills are required to be successful in this role.   
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have an understanding of Accounting concepts and the ability to understand moderately complex financial software applications.  Most work is performed in situations requiring both strong individual contribution and effective teamwork.  This is a unique position that involves significant interaction with multiple groups and requires the ability to respond to occasional off-hour regional support issues.
Knowledge, Skills, Education and Abilities:
 
Bachelor's degree required with 7-10 years of relevant work experience.  Candidates must possess strong drive for results and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.  Experience with Hyperion applications either as a user or an administrator a plus.  Candidates must be able to work on a team as well as independently.
