DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-time Consultant is needed to lead SalesEdge in Americas. SalesEdge is the global sales and marketing information portal for Dell. It serves as a centralized repository for all products, solutions, services and regional specific content needed to support our sales teams globally.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following types of activities:
* AMER Primary Contact - manage relationship with consumers and contributors by promoting and encouraging SalesEdge usage in AMER. Provide executive level updates to key stakeholders in Large Enterprise, Public and CSMB as needed.
* IT Liaison – work closely with IT for both SalesEdge Development projects and Maintenance operations. Will be the number one point of contact for IT in the SalesEdge team (daily interaction).
* Usability/User Adoption – work together with the SalesEdge team to develop and execute awareness strategy for AMER, create feedback mechanism to help understand the user experience (i.e. focus groups, surveys); work with region/segment/country level teams to create SalesEdge advocates/champions.
* Training – in-person, web-based, and online training to content contributors and consumers (end users/sales). Work with L&D team to ensure SalesEdge is a key component of new hire and vitality training. Create written materials as needed to support training efforts.
* Communication – work together with the SalesEdge team to provide recurring communications around new features and functionality, outages, announcements and launch events; develop marketing materials as need to promote SalesEdge to end users.
* Content Management System – provide input into system enhancements in order to make SalesEdge more efficient for sales and marketing to access content; work towards consolidating redundant tools/share drives/SharePoint sites; identify opportunities to integrate with other applications; coordinate with other Sales Effectiveness and Business Automation teams as appropriate; identify taxonomy owners for AMER and work with content contributors regarding workflow activities (i.e. review posted materials for placement accuracy as needed, manage area owners, manage tools, and ensure proper usage of the system).

Help Desk/End user escalation support – provide guidance for any L1 business support questions which cannot be answered by helpdesk. Provide leadership and coordinate with IT or other SalesEdge PM during any system outages. Work with IT on any other Remedy issues which fall outside of help desk support.
*
The goal of this will be to work with the global businesses and IT teams to ensure the front end system is user-friendly and regularly maintained for an excellent user experience.
*
This position will be an integral part of the SalesEdge team and will take its direction from the Global SalesEdge Business Owner and require coordination and alignment with other Consultants to ensure consistency across the globe.
Background and Experience: Previous Business Analyst experience is required. Some previous project management experienced would be preferable.



Hard Skills: Must be technical as there is interaction on a daily basis with IT. Candidate will be trained but must be a very quick study.



Soft Skills: We are looking for someone self-motivated, detail/process oriented and able to deal with ambiguity. This person must be able to aggressively drive a project to completion without constant oversight. Candidate must be a team player as this position will interact with people globally (Americas, Europe and Asia).
