The Business Analyst II conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to guide information technology solutions into alignment with business initiatives. Provides direction to the technical staff with whom they are partnered on efforts.
Performs analysis to identify/verify production application issues and to determine solutions for production application issues and manages project plans for large and complex projects.
Manages solution execution, organizes deployment, and/or support actions required in response to deployment issues.
Performs ongoing auditing to validate process successes and define requirements for needed enhancements to applications.
Reviews and approves testing scripts, SAT, validate test results and occasionally executing test scripts for complex projects.
Drafts and reviews user documentation for applications and processes, that include Project Requests and Briefs for the Project Evaluation Board, for large and complex projects.
Assists business clients with Project Requests and Briefs, and supports these during Project Board sessions.
Supports the business client as a train the trainer resource and provides one-on-one training in application use and process flow.
Provides application and process subject matter expertise for business clients and technical resources.
Creates and distributes a Weekly Project Status, organizes and conducts Weekly Project Meetings, and tracks schedules, issues, and tasks on a project.
May assist with process re-engineering, business analysis tasks, and the Functional Requirements Document (FDR).
Bachelors degree (B.A.) and two years of related experience; or three to five years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
