Title: Business Analyst II
Location: Connecticut - Farmington
* Formulate and define system scope and objectives using knowledge of information technology and industry knowledge/requirements.
* Act as a liaison between client and technical solutions/support groups, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements.
* Research, identify, and specify solutions to problems.
* Support and conduct visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design.
* Document requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools.
* Support requirements management and change management processes.
* Support aspects of the business cycle, including proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
* Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

Education and Experience Required:
* Typically a Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree and up to two years of experience.

Business Analyst (TMH) Responsibilities

Job skills

Seeking Business Analyst for definition, analysis, design of test cases, and lead in presentation of unit and system testing results for a new Healthcare Claims system. This is part of a multi vendor integration project. Claims and remittance experience preferred. Experience required in developing requirements and testing for large complex projects. Experience working in Healthcare Claim systems and, Healthcare claim data and specific knowledge of EDI X12 and HIPAA transaction processing solutions (837/835 experience preferred). Track record of meeting commitments and delivering results in successful projects is a requirement.

* Positive communication skills -- both written and verbal; ability to work with the client and client's vendors/partners with the ability to actively participate in both technical and business meetings.
* Ability to research systems, business solutions.
* Ability to document findings clearly, creates thorough business requirements, and constructs a comprehensive business design solution.
* Ability to take ownership of business issues, to follow-up, and arrive at a comprehensive solution.
* Ability to actively interact in a positive way with the customer business team, the Claims / HIPPA technical development team, and any other groups within the project to resolve ambiguity, refines requirements, and solves shared problems.
* Commitment to assist the Claims technical development team to understand business requirements and business design as needed for the success of the project.
* Experience in Claims and Claims remittance / HIPAA transactions, specifically 837/835.
* Ability to travel to Hartford, CT - Approximately 50%

1.1.2 Business Analyst (Business Consultant)
Authority to assist client and the Workstream leads in requirement capturing, validation sessions.
· Collaborates with client & HP Workstream leads in gathering Business Requirements and detailing the client requirements for configuration.
· Utilizes standard tools, templates to capture and document business requirements.
· Supports configuration planning; enhancement analysis, conversion, and interface efforts; conversion and integration activities; Workstream activities.
· Leads requirement sessions with the client; documenting the requirements, questions or issues from the meetings.
· Performs requirements validation, accuracy sessions with client and Workstream participants.
· Creates the documentation of the business requirements.
· Performs requirements traceability throughout Workstream delivery.
