The role of the ERP BusinessAnalyst is to work with the business to understand and document business requirements, work with development to guide technical implementation, complete unit testing and work with the business through UAT signoff. The ERP BusinessAnalyst will be familiar with assigned business domains to make recommendations to the Director regarding prioritization of business requests. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establish work schedules · Build and maintain strong user relationships · Collaborate with management and users in defining business requirements as they relate to sales, service, marketing, inventory control, distribution, warehousing and contract management · Assist in the planning, execution, and management of business solutions implementations · Co-ordinate system modifications and enhancements with user community and external vendors · Develop required SDLC documentation, e.g., Business Requirements, Functional Design and Test Plans · Co-ordinate and schedule the testing and implementation of system solutions · Analyze and provide solutions for various system issues raised by users across the country · Participate in incident analysis and problem resolution to production issues
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
· University Degree in Business Administration, preferably including Information Technology
Experience:
· 2-3 years as a Business Analyst working on Baan ERP systems within a medium to large Organization · · Ability to think logically as it relates to problem solving and possess above average analytical skills · Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies, techniques and tools, including business process mapping & redesign, opportunity analysis, and use cases · Ability to effectively facilitate and elicit business requirements · Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly with respect to typical Business Analyst deliverables · Excellent consulting and internal customer service skills · Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
OTHER:
· Baan ERP V4 or V5c experience would be a great advantage · Project Lead capabilities · ERP implementation exposure will be an added advantage
