Title: Business Analyst Principal Leader Location: VA: VIRGINIA-FALLS CHURCH Overall Role Purpose The Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) is a team of commissioned sales professionals who are incented to close standardized managed services primarily to new customers. The TSE acts as the primary technical sales support for business developers representing the Regional Portfolio (RPE) team and New Business functions servicing all CSC Divisions and Industry Verticals new business development needs for standardized outsourcing services such as Dynamic Desktop and Anywhere Desktop Virtual Desktop Services. TSE's are responsible for working directly with Client's to translate customer use cases and business requirements into a value-add virtual desktop managed service solution using established cost models and associated product marketing documentation and tools, managing collection of due diligence assisting in contract negotiations, and transition of new services over to the Regional Service Center (RSC) and account management functions. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities The Technical Sales Engineer is a customer-facing, technical sales individual assigned to support the lead qualification, solution design, and closure of virtual desktop services The specific role of the Technical Sales Engineer is to develop service delivery proposal solutions that are compliant to defined standard and optional service parameters that are adopted by Clients. In developing the service delivery proposal, the TSE must ensure collaboration across consulting, RPE, Regional Service Center (RSC) and new business services functions and related service offerings. Developing Client strategy alignment with standard product configurations is a vitally important part of the role. It encompasses SME technical knowledge of thin client technologies and how they contribute to meeting specific business ential Job Functions * Oversees, plans and designs highly complex business processes and makes recommendations in order to improve and support business activities. * Analyzes and documents client's complex business requirements and processes; constructs conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates to communicate requirements. * Performs the function of a lead in creating complex test case scenarios for testing and/or monitoring the testing of business applications to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design. * Function as a lead and provides input into the development and modification of systems to meet client needs. * Coordinates and facilitates meetings with clients on larger accounts to gather and document requirements and explore complex solutions. * Coordinates business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide project team member guidance/support throughout the project life cycle. Provides work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel. * Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews and inspections to verify the implementation of 'intent of change' through the entire project. * Provides time estimates for project related tasks. * Creates and maintains the architecture for highly complex business process domains to ensure alignment with the organization's technology priorities. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred * Nine or more years of business processes and business analysis experience * Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization * Experience working with business processes and re-engineering * Experience working with computer programming concepts and coding languages * Experience working with the implementation of company value propositions Other Qualifications * Strong communication skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong presentation skills * Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills * Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members * Ability to translate technical language into client language * Ability to lead and work in a team environment * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly * Willingness to travel
