City / Ville Calgary Province Alberta [AB] Title / Titre Business Analyst - Sharepoint Job ID / Numéro d'identification du poste 9718 Position Overview / Vue d'ensemble du poste Our client in the downtown core is looking for the services of an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) to work within the Project team, and with the client's subject matter experts on a current Records Management systems project.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités The Business System Analyst should have a minimum of 8 years experience. The analyst will contribute within a project team at defining systems development business solutions, and will work with the stakeholders at eliciting requirements, interviewing, participating in focus groups, and requirement workshops. The primary tasks will be the assessment of business requirements, and the documentation of functional and user requirements. The documentation developed by the BSA will include use cases, user procedures and workflows, and their interaction with system functions. In addition the Business Analyst will perform testing, communication and training for the proposed solution.
Requirements / Exigences TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 WSS and Windows SharePoint 2003 SharePoint Reporting / Document Scanning MS SQL and Reporting Experience with Document Management Systems Experience with InfoPath, workflow and forms applications/systems SAP experience an asset
DELIVERABLES: Participate in SharePoint records management project. Lead requirement gathering sessions Develop business system analysis and requirements documentation using Visio Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows Develop traceability matrix Establish acceptance test criteria with client Work with project team and technical lead to ensure work conforms to business requirements. Provide training to IS and business staff on the use of the proposed solution. Management and monitoring of test plans for all levels of testing which include unit, integration and regression testing. Development of test scenarios and test scripts Determine areas in need of improvement and find innovative solutions
The contract is 4.5 months in duration with potential for extension.
