The ideal candidate is capable of understanding customer needs and thoroughly meeting or exceeding expectations. This role requires understanding the big picture, including best practices for collaboration and change management, as well as an ability to apply a disciplined and detail-oriented approach to execution.
Your Responsibilities Reporting to the Director, IT Web Applications and based in Redwood City, CA, you will be a key member of a lean and high impact IT organization of 100 people aligned in several geographically dispersed centers that support an employee base of over 2,200 people in over 25 countries. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: . Collaborate with team members in generating new ideas to resolve issues and seize opportunities . Collaborate with team members to continually assess technology capabilities to ensure the business can leverage the best possible solution . Build consensus with stakeholders . Execute a mutually agreed upon strategy . Break down and simplify complex concepts . Partner with subject matter experts to plan and execute creative solutions to promote end user adoption . Follow through on projects and details . Solve problems efficiently and effectively . Monitor and communicate the status of deliverables, issues and risks across multiple work streams . Manage project issues to resolution . Build strong business relationships, managing customer expectations and translating needs into effective web solutions . Continuously grow your knowledge and expertise in next-generation web technologies, share best practices and drive innovation
Your Qualifications - The Web Applications Business Analyst must show 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the following areas: . Implementing and supporting employee intranets or employee portals leveraging Microsoft SharePoint 2007 or later versions . Delivering projects in scope, on time and within budget . Leading all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, implementation and support -A four-year degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent is required.
Required skills: . Strong accountability, teamwork, and initiative . Strong technical aptitude, including a thorough understanding of web applications and an ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies . Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and presentation skills . Proficiency in HTML . Diplomacy in resolving project issues and developing consensus, collaboration and coordination in difficult business and technical situations . Aptitude for implementing alternatives to execute projects and processes in a faster, more efficient or more cost-effective manner
Desired Skills: . Experience as a business analyst in a consulting organization . Experience with Salesforce Collaboration Cloud (Chatter/Content)
