Business Intelligence/Microstrategy Analyst Job
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of enterprise-wide data analytics and reporting solutions. This individual will work with internal customers to understand and analyze requirements and develop BI solutions using Microstrategy Business Intelligence tool. Successful candidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of BI and Data Warehouse operating environments and related technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
* Write complex Microstrategy queries, including the use of relationship filters, custom groups, consolidations, VLDB properties
* Work directly with clients to determine requirements; design and develop queries to best meet the clients' business needs
* Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and identify data quality issues.
* Build Microstrategy metadata - attributes, metrics, filters, etc.
* Tune Microstrategy queries to run efficiently in a large data volume environment.
* Use Microstrategy for complex market basket analysis and developing dynamic dashboards
* Create ad-hoc queries and reports as requested and provide on-going analytical support for these requests
