JOB TITLE: BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
CANDIDATE LOCATIONS: These are new positions as my client is expanding. We seek qualified candidates in the following areas: (1) NY or NJ (Northern NJ), (2) Los Angeles or San Francisco.
PURPOSE OF THIS POSTING: For my client, a global leader in the Information Technology services field, I am seeking qualified candidates who live in the outlined areas, and who have the outlined experience. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of demonstrated increasing levels of responsibilities as a business intelligence and analytics evangelist capable of interacting and influencing outcomes at the highest levels.
Responsibilities
Person will be responsible for the design and implementation efforts for business intelligence/analytics solutions
Define product strategy and roadmap for BI/Analytics tools
Responsibilities will include design, build, and maintenance of the information management infrastructure to support business analysis (Requirements gathering, ETL, Dimensional Data Modeling, Reporting, OLAP, Data Mining, Predictive Modeling etc.)
Work with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and tactics
Maintain balance between architecture requirements and specific business group needs
Research and educate on the use of the BI platform for strategic decision-making
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experienced in ETL development and tools (Informatica, Ab-initio,Talend, Pentaho, DataFlux, Pervasive, Webshpere DataStage...)
Experience with Reporting/BI tools (Qlikview, SAS, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Oracle BI, Pentaho, Microstrategy...)
Experience with DW Platforms (Teradata, Oracle, Netezza, Neo-View...)
Proficiency with distributed analytic processing technologies and cloud architectures
