Description
Responsible for providing programming expertise for a business intelligence tool, Vintara. The focus will be on helping the client
determine their performance measures, translating those performance measures into programming language in order to display dashboards and
scorecards. The programming skills involve successful collection, analysis, and presentation of performance measures.
Position Summary:
* Responsible for project deliverables from design to implementation. * Work face-to-face with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and expectations in order to design and develop appropriate deliverables. * Design, develop and enhance product applications
Required:
* Top Secret SCI * At least 3 years experience in Programming * Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related experience. * SQL - ability to read/update code and scripts. * Proficient troubleshooting/analytical skills. * Javascript, HTML, Query tools and Data modeling skills * Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding performance and data retrieval skills * Knowledge of testing and QA procedures * Knowledge of MicroStrategy OLAP Services or MicroStrategy Web
Desired Skills:
* Quality management experience (e.g. Six Sigma, ISO, CMM, ITIL, BPR expertise, facilitation, performance management. * Oracle and business analyst experience. * A diverse background in reporting technologies and the architecture, design, development and optimization of complex reporting implementations. * A firm grasp of the Data Warehouse architecture and the structure of multidimensional objects. * Understanding with data modeling- both 3rd normal form and star/snowflake schemas * 2 years BI development experience * Demonstrated advanced experience in the following areas: MicroStrategy Administrator, MicroStrategy Desktop, or MicroStrategy Report Services
