We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Business Manager / Campaign Manager, SEM in our Glendale, CA office. AT&T Interactive, a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T, is looking for a Business Manager / SEM Campaign Manager to work in our Search Engine Marketing (SEM) group. We are willing to consider highly skilled, exceptionally talented SEM Campaign Management related backgrounds with proven track record ready to demonstrate ability and drive to step into this critical position. You will be part of the team that is responsible for owning the product, business P&L, setting short to long-term vision and strategy, and executing daily business management activities for one or more lines of business. This includes coordinating execution strategies and issue resolution across sales, marketing, operations, and other internal teams, as well as external vendor management contacts. RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to Associate Director for SEM, the Roles and Responsibilities include:
Primary responsibility will be for SEM campaign management for creating, managing and optimize highly-efficient pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns for local and national clients.
The SEM Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of the SEM/PPC campaigns, from strategy to keyword research to conversion to reporting and analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for search marketing, and familiarity and experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics and other 3 rd Party SEM campaign management and analytics tools
Accountable for the business performance (KPIs, revenue and margin contribution) and market goals for one or more assigned SEM products or focus areas, including related areas such as leads generation and other traffic delivery opportunities
Work with SEM Leadership team to define and own business strategies that shapes and grows AT&T Interactive as a local SEM agency business.
Conduct detailed business/financial analysis to build business plans, prioritize initiatives and guide resourcing
Responsible for supporting management of one or more SEM product lines - this involves intensely hands-on execution of duties, escalation and conflict resolution, and tactical execution as well as strategy.
Evaluate, recommend and implement product enhancements, business strategies, search engine optimizations, and new product concepts based on market/industry demand.
Work with multiple sales channels across all states, channel delivery and performance groups, marketing, cross functional groups, and other business managers to develop and deliver a constantly improving and expanding product line.
Evaluate large, complex data sets to analyze search related analytics, cost factors, and other performance factors to manage the product's financial and core KPIs.
REQUIREMENTS AT&T Interactive is looking for this SEM Campaign / Business Manager to have the following experience, skills and characteristics:
An energetic, highly driven, can-do attitude! Team player who takes strategic direction well, collaborates with others, and brings a positive attitude to the group.
3+ years SEM campaign management experience minimum - preferably with a strong Google campaign management background.
Working knowledge of performance-based online advertising preferred
Strong functional math skills and MS Excel skills are required, as SEM is all about the numbers. Excellent writing skills, verbal communication skills and attention to detail are also required
Outstanding analytical ability & comfort with large data sets: Must have a data driven approach to solving problems. Requires very strong quantitative skills and a good sense of how to dissect problems. Must have expert Excel and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to achieve buy-in for your strategies across the organization
Strong desire to work in a team-based environment that collaborates to bring great projects to market.
Must be able to set priorities, drive momentum across the organization while conducting analysis to quickly arrive at an actionable solution
Experience in revenue management: defining plans and driving revenue to exceed targets
Bachelor's degree required.
