Organization: Application OutsourcingLocation: Austin, Texas People within Application Outsourcing are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. As part of our Application Outsourcing team, you could be helping to provide the programming, management and maintenance services needed to implement and support installations of both custom and packaged application software Our AO resources can expect to:
Incorporate skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

Responsible for providing deep expertise for the TMMIS BusinessObjects implementation, including scheduling and planning system upgrades and patches; preparing server support; developing backup, clustering, and failover strategies; and overseeing the administration and security provisions for production and test environments. Has a range of proficient technical skills including data warehouse design concepts, dimensional models, SQL, and BusinessObjects universe development. Develops effective standards, best practices, procedures and key metrics to enhance operational stability of the BusinessObjects installation, and manages the overall performance for the BusinessObjects solution including performance monitoring, capacity planning and tuning as required. As a senior team member, performs coaching, coordinates/oversees the work of others, and may lead small/medium size work efforts. Significant client interaction and responsible for maintaining client relationships. Participates in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment. Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in application maintenance and/or development
Minimum 3 years of development experience in BusinessObjects.
Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: SQL, data warehouse concepts, ETL, or BusinessObjects
Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining customer relationships
Minimum 1 year of experience overseeing work of others
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Texas Medicaid or in comparable healthcare or claims processing industry
Experience with specific technical platforms including HP NonStop (aka NSK, Tandem), Unix, or Linux
Experience with specific technical solutions including SQL Server
Experience providing production on-call support
4-year college degree
