Global Aftermarket Business Integration (Business Analyst/Developer) This R&O engineering position will perform an integral engineering role for Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering representing all Aftermarket shops alike from an engineering stand point in cross functional teams and processes.
The position requires a highly motivated individual with the opportunity to exercise their diverse technical in the field of developing structures, frameworks and application development to support engineering configuration management, product profiling with data and cost and managing web applications from a development perspective. The engineering environment is dynamic, fast paced, and allows the individual to interface with all aspects of Honeywell's organization and product life cycle.
Responsibilities:
. Primary Responsibility o It is important to work in synchronous and asynchronous processes of development. o The applications are built in LAMP stack - Linux, Apache, Mysql and PHP. The analyst should be able to run all services and run the application from end to end. o Engage in working with the Business Integration Manager and support Sr. Business Analyst/Developer to address the analysis requirements of various cross functional processes. o Analyze the data from SAP, Havrel, QDS to come up with the problems the COEs need to address in resolving service center issues o Establish and migrate existing applications (which are in PHP / Mysql), maintain them, integrate them with other application and further develop the existing applications. o The existing applications are of two types: ? Transaction Intensive . Here there applications are small utilities that collect data and reported. ? Data Processing Intensive . The responsibility here would be is to receive large volumes of data (millions of records) and integrate with other existing applications Experience Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Education and Skill: . Qualification: BE / MCA/ Equivalent (Discipline: Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Science) . Skills: PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, SAP . Add on: Data warehousing. Experience: . Experience should be 2 years Strong technical background in LAMP technology Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) . SAP solution for AERO knowledge . Good communication skills. . Extensive programming experience in PHP. . Good programming knowledge in MySQL and SQL knowledge also Capable to understand customer requirements and work independently. . Good knowledge in software engineering, programming/Debugging skills . Knowledge in SAP implementation for AERO business . Good knowledge in SAP tables would be an added advantage. . Knowledge in AERO business operations and costing. . Knowledge/Experience in data warehousing would be preferable . Additional Qualifications: (Not Required but a plus) . Understanding and compliance to export regulation and ITAR information . Visual Basic Scripting - For Screen Scraping . Configuration Management exercise . Oracle exposure and working experience
