Description The Business Systems Analysts studies the overall business and information needs of the organization in order to develop application support solutions to business and related problems. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creates and modifies user profiles and other access controls for HR systems and data. Informs system users when requests have been completed. * Maintains complex HR systems security configuration and access controls. Monitors and reviews the work of analysts to ensure Quality Assurance (QA) processes are followed. * Investigates and documents Security incidents. * Reviews Security logs and violation reports and follows-up as appropriate. * Ensures that Security systems are in compliance with established Security policies. * Conducts scheduled and ad hoc Security compliance reviews, including running and distributing user and usage reports, gathering required approvals from business owners, and tracking completion of reviews. * Works with other Technology Practice staff and Client to assess Security system modifications required due to system changes. * Ensures proper implementation of changes to information protection policies, standards, and guidelines. * Leads the development, testing, and implementation of appropriate Security controls. * Participates with internal and external audit staff in assessing the effectiveness of the Security program. * Provide support for the My HR benefits system, including, but not limited to, researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. * Provide on-call support for the HRIS Application Support Group. * Maintain the HRIS Application Support Group's supporting tables; document process and results. * Serve as the key liaison with vendors and the My HR application in regards to the system relationships. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating testing initiatives, resolving issues reported by vendors, executing and reviewing test results. * Responsible for user-acceptance testing for national interfaces. * Provide subject matter expertise to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. * Create and document procedures and manuals to be used by the HRIS Application Support Group. * Review functional and technical designs for completeness and support requirements for system changes. * Participate in the SIT and UAT cycle and provide subject matter expertise in response to defects. Review test results and participate in the defect disposition processes. * Work with KPIT with the implementation of system changes including, but not limited to, reviewing migration plan, validation of the system changes, and executing test scripts. * Monitor system performance and report anomalies, errors, inaccuracies and/or inefficiencies.
