Description SAS BI Administrator The Analytic Center of Excellence (ACE) and Technical Environments Support (TES) team in the Information Management Strategy group supports critical decision support, business intelligence, and analytical systems that support various initiatives including member data analysis, marketing support, care analysis, regional and enterprise datamarts, KP HealthConnect reporting, and budget and forecasting systems. Other reporting, ETL, and research groups also rely on ACE/TES to provide support to providers and business support groups for their statistical, research, and decision support initiatives. Platforms include Cognos BI and EP, Informatica, Dataflux, SAS BI, Crystal Enterprise, Oracle, and Business Objects. The SAS BI Administrator will serve as a key member of the ACE team and will be focused on supporting SAS Business Intelligence tools and analytic capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the ACE SAS BI shared environment Responsibilities: ? Installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of SAS BI implementations in a shared environment ? Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices for SAS BI ? Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities ? Conduct performance tuning and capacity management ? Implement patches and other day-to-day SAS BI administration tasks ? Work with IT and business users to resolve support and technical questions ? Provide support to the business community in leveraging the new SAS BI platform, including migration from PC SAS/Connect and MVS to SAS BI on AIX Platform ? Contribute to coordination and planning of SAS BI related activities ? Provide 24x7 shift support Requirements: ? 5+ years of product implementation and administration of SAS BI ? Strong knowledge of and experience implementing SAS BI security using SAS Management Console ? Detailed knowledge of SAS BI architecture ? Knowledge of and experience using the SAS BI suite of products, including but not limited to, Enterprise Guide, Information Map Studio, Web Report Studio, Information Delivery Portal ? Working knowledge of administering SAS Analytics including both SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS Forecast Server. ? Working knowledge and experience on Windows 2003 and AIX server administration ? Strong unix shell scripting skills ? Good understanding of Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere as it relates to the SAS BI infrastructure ? Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills ? Good understanding of various database platforms, including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Teradata ? Practical experience on basic SQL skills and Unix shell scripting Desired Skills: ? SAS programming for data management, SAS Macro and PROC statements ? Exposure to Data Integrations Studio, SAS Information Delivery Portal and SAS/ODS Interviews will be phone and then face to face.
