POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Business Systems Analyst will provide technical leadership for Plex ERP, Longview financial reporting and other key business systems. The successful candidate will deliver information to all segments of the business, to support corporate-wide strategic decision-making that impacts quality, customer satisfaction, business development, and financial growth.
ACTIVITIES AND TASKS - Work with management to ensure that core business systems provide the data required to effectively manage the business. - Consult with management on system capabilities to ensure maximum return on ERP investment. - Enhance standard system reports and develop custom reports as required by the business. - Ensure integrity of data retrieved from legacy systems and perform data downloads and uploads to ensure that data is properly formatted when it is initially entered into the system. - Develop and manage enterprise ERP system configuration. - Define, manage & track ERP customizations. - Ensure that system security conforms to management requirements. - Work with end-users and plant floor employees to troubleshoot problems and ensure adherence to standard practices. QUALIFICATIONS - A degree in information systems from one of the following: CIS, BIS or MIS and/or a degree in Business Administration. - A minimum of 3 years providing business systems support for ERP systems. Experience with Plex, SAP or Oracle ERP is a plus. - A thorough understanding of SaaS and Cloud Computing platforms. At least 2 years experience directly supporting such an environment. - The ability to enhance standard reports and to produce high-quality custom reports for 'C ' level executives. SQL and Crystal Reports experience is a plus. - Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. - A self-starter who learns quickly and independently. - Ability to speak Spanish a plus. - International travel may be required (~10%) (USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, China).
