Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager

What You Will Do-in the Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager role:
Job Summary:
In this role, you will act as the liaison to IT for both internal and external facing customers. You will partner with key business leaders to provide application-specific subject matter expertise, application management, project leadership, and technical insight. You will continually analyze and identify business processes and identify areas to improve NaviSite's business through the use of creative technology solutions. You will work with business sponsors and the global IT team members to define requirements, initiate creative solutions, and craft functional specifications to meet the business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Collect, analyze and document in clear concise documents, business requirements for complex business needs.
· Evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies aligned with NaviSite's business needs.
· Perform software application management/configuration on systems as needed.
· As Project Manager, work aggressively to drive approved projects to completion within agreed upon timelines
· Utilize project management skills to successfully estimate time and cost requirements for complete project lifecycle.
· Utilize excellent communication and project management skills to manage internal and external resources on an as needed basis to ensure desired project results are achieved.
What We Are Looking For in a Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager:
Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in writing functional requirements.
· Knowledge of various development methodologies.
· 3+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst.
· Demonstrated self-direction skills and strong business relationship skills.
· Firm understanding of CRM systems (preferably ), ERP Solutions, and Ticketing/workforce management systems.
· Experience in working with in house developed applications
· Experience with integrating applications using standard interfaces
· Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business leaders to drive measurable business results.
· Experience in business processes, consultation and analysis.
· Technically savvy, i.e. knowledgeable about web based applications, able to analyze data through SQL queries or other similar tools, awareness of vast development technologies and interface techniques, etc.
· Requires BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related disciplines.
· Experience with industry standard documentation tools i.e. Project, Visio etc.
