BW Technical Quality Manager for Operations
SAP is the global market leader for business software and thus contributes a considerable part of the world's economic power grid. As part of a global team the TQM will work closely with SAP Development and the global SAP Global Support Centers to ensure the contractually agreed service levels between SAP and the Premium Engagement customers are being met.
The TQM is responsible for the following tasks: . System Monitoring o Recognize a critical status/an exception and trigger the appropriate action(s) . Continuous Improvement/Knowledge Transfer to the customer Center of Expertise Team with focus on SAP Banking Specific Operations Tasks/Procedures . Performance Monitoring, Analysis and Tuning . Supports System Maintenance Tasks o Support customer in Planning/Risk Mitigation and support of Execution of further roll-outs of new SAP functionality o Planning/Risk Mitigation and support of Execution for Support Pack, Enhancement Pack implementation and Upgrades . Supports Data Archiving Tasks o Support of regular archiving activities and fine tuning of archiving strategy . Analysis of technical and functional issues o Root Cause Analysis with usage of common tools (Monitoring, Tracing, Debugging) . Coordinate issue resolution/corrective action efforts with SAP's support organization (SAP Back Office) and SAP Banking Development to drive complex issues to resolution
Due to the nature of the engagement, outside of standard working hours, the TQM is expected to work evenings and weekends as needed. TQM is being compensated for these additional hours through the On-Call policy.
Through our SAP Support internal training program and "on-the-job training," TQM gets the ideal preparation and knowledge you need for a successful start and integration into our team. * Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in a customer facing role. * Proven ability to work with customers on project-level. * SAP Banking background and or technical experience are preferred. * Strong SAP PI / Know How and or Interface Expert * Familiar with monitoring and performance analysis of PI and other SAP applications and/or SAP Basis (ABAP, Java, or Databases) * Strong technical skill set .* Master's or Bachelor's Degree * Excellent customer management skills, ability to manage customer expectations * Proven ability to work with customers on project level * A strong team player with initiative and 'can do' attitude who learns and adapts quickly * Accountability and ownership for issue resolution * Ability to work under high pressure, in critical situations and under tight timelines * Fluency in English. German and/or French language skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
