Description
Description The primary purpose of this position is responsibility for performing component detail drawings of product, equipment, and tooling n support of Greatbatch manufacturing and engineering, and work under the direction of the Research & Development and Engineering Manager.
Essential Job Functions
· Adheres to Greatbatch Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements. · Create detail manufacturing component drawings from solid models. · Modify and revise existing drawings as required. · Run prints, create file, and other clerical activities as required. · Create and revise assembly, tooling and component drawings for production and engineering use. · Modify existing designs according to production and/or engineering requirements. · Run prints, distribute and archive drawings as per business system requirements. · Performs other functions as required.
Position Qualifications
· Associate degree in Applied Technology or related field. Certificate in AutoCAD program acceptable. · 1-3 years practical application. · Must have Solid Works and AutoCAD experience. Corel Draw experience helpful. · Mechanical drafting skills. · Simple components drawings, assembly, tooling and knowledge of Bill of Materials. · Strong organization skills required to perform administrative tasks.
