Job Description:

Work with support engineers, professional services, and sales engineers to investigate and handle customer and field escalated cases. Responsible for handling critical customer problems in real-time and developing code fixes or enhancements to be included in future code releases or patches. Troubleshoot, analyze, replicate, regress and resolve complex field software problems escalated to engineering. Analyze, troubleshoot and set up test environments for debugging the issue. Develop tools to help replicate customer environments. Reproduce customer issues and resolve them by either establishing a workaround or a solution, or by debugging and creating a bug fix. Create and document best practices guidelines and knowledge base articles. Check in bug fixes and work with release management, QA to generate patches and service packs. Design, implement, and test escalated enhancement feature requests to enhance product functionality as needed. Coordinate, respond, track and follow-up on customer problem reports/technical support requests for Engineering. Work closely with developers and performance engineers to enhance supportability and identify performance bottleneck in the product.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or related. Will accept three (3) year foreign BA/BS degree. Two (2) years experience in position or related such as Software/Systems/QA Engineer, Technical Staff/Consultant/Architect/Lead, Programmer, or Programmer Analyst. Applicable experience may be during pre- or post-completion of BA/BS. Demonstrated expertise in VC++, .Net C#, VB, and Java. Demonstrated expertise in using MS Visual C++ environment to build software solutions using Win32 SDK and C++ STL. Demonstrated expertise in developing applications for mission critical projects and web architectures. Demonstrated expertise in multi-threaded programming; design and development of distributed systems; object-oriented design; socket and networking protocols in TCP/IP and UDP/IP; using secured communication data channels over SSL; developing software applications supporting Unicode data communication; database application design and implementation; and WinDbg, Adplus, AppSite, and Dr Watson software debugging techniques.
