About the Position
Completes administrative reviews on incoming field appraisals, approving or rejecting completed appraisal reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but not limited to:
• Reviews appraisal products for compliance with applicable USPAP, Fannie Mae, and client reporting guidelines, as well as completeness, consistency, logic, and appropriate valuation methodology.
• Approves or rejects reports-, requesting additional information as needed, and re- reviewing revised reports as they are received.
• Working with field vendors as well as review, customer service, and operational staff to ensure efficient procedures and client guidelines are followed

Position Qualifications- The ideal candidate will have the following:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of educational requirements/continuing education to receive and maintain a state appraiser’s license.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS -A current residential appraisal license/certification is a requirement.
LANGUAGE SKILLS -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
