Title: CI Practice Lead Location: USA As the Americas CI Practice lead you will be responsible for providing overall direction and strategy for the Customer Intelligence suite, in addition to providing field direction on selling SAS Analytics to help solve "Customer" based business issues. Additional responsibilities may include: * Providing domain sales leadership to field-based account teams; and establishing the partner strategy for sell-with, sell-through, and Marketing Service Providers. * Leading a team that defines, creates and presents solution architectures that provide SAS customers with a comprehensive understanding of their customer's behavior * Responsible for Sales Enablement programs that provide technical and sales team collateral that assist the field in customer-facing sales situations * Managing a staff of systems engineers who are responsible for providing technical pre-sales enablement for the Customer Intelligence suite. Leads team in support on all SAS System and CI products and solutions to define sales plays and collateral for sales teams to drive new business. * Interacting with external analyst relations firms related to market positing of SAS suite. * Speaking at external marketing events as well as a variety of public speaking engagements. * Identifying key accounts and determines strategies to maximize revenue; Hiring mentoring, and training Systems Engineers and possibly other technical sales support staff; Determining optimal utilization of staff and resources to achieve sales goals. * Working directly with Sales management to provide feedback, as well as the appropriate services to enable sales teams to achieve targets. * Providing feedback to Product Management related to new opportunities as well as areas of improvement within the suite.
Essential * Bachelor's in Business, Computer Science, or quantitative field * 10 years experience in technical sales, retail merchandise marketing, or support, with * 3 years of supervisory experience or three years of coordinating/supporting technical sales/marketing projects * Experience working with or leading Marketing, Finance and Operations organizations * Experience selling/providing technical support for Marketing Departments Essential Equivalent * Associate's degree in the same fields with an additional 2 years of stated essential qualifications - or - * High school diploma (GED) with an additional 4 years of stated essential qualifications Additional * Demonstrated understanding of hardware and software sales techniques and principles; Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; demonstrated leadership skills. ability to develop vertical industry applications; ability to work and learn independently. * Ability to travel as business dictates Additional Information To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
