The team consists of highly professional, committed and team-oriented Analysts; this is an excellent environment for people to apply their knowledge and expertise in providing first-class support to our client.
Work Shift: Monday: 7am to 7pm Friday: 7am to 7pm, Saturday & Sunday: 7am to 4pm or 10 am to 7 pm Holidays and Designated Fridays (which is every 1st and 3rd Friday of the Month): 7am - 7pm
3 DAYS OFF A WEEK: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Responsibilities / Responsabilités Specific duties include: - Providing helpdesk support to variable Business Unit/ Field end users - Responding to technical related emails, telephone calls and voicemail - Resolving calls at either first, second, or third level support and escalating as appropriate - Maintaining Documentation - Acting as a SPOC(Single Point of Contact) for communication on activities and updates to our service disruption line - Monitoring the network to ensure all servers are up and running
Requirements / Exigences Must have the following knowledge: - Novell - Unix - Citrix - Windows XP OS - MS Office - Basic network understanding - Hardware troubleshooting and replacement - Documentation skills - Soft skills - Customer Service skills - Self Motivated
Nice to Have: - Active Directory Experience - Deskside Support Experience - Experience with Remote Access, Call Ticketing Systems, Nageous and HP openview
Qualifications: - The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, or related discipline, combined with a minimum of two years experience in helpdesk and desktop support roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - This is a very dynamic, fast paced environment where all team members demonstrate adaptability, initiative, resourcefulness and adeptness. - Natural leadership and problem resolution instincts, commitment and willingness to accept ownership, will be important character traits.
