Job Description
Building, deploying, and troubleshooting workstations
Knowledge sharing with other team members
Create, use, and ensure proper processes are documented for efficient workstation support
Document all requests in issue tracking tool
Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate technical support groups. Also provides hands-on assistance for server, voice, and networking support personnel
Work Experience/ Skills Required
Minimum of 1 year experience in providing IT service in a business environment
Basic understanding of Active Directory, hardware, operating systems, client side networking
Knowledge in installing and supporting Microsoft Office products
Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
Experience and understanding of delivering quality customer service
Work Experience/ Skills Preferred
Experience in working with an issue tracking tool
Experience and knowledge in installing licensed software
Experience in supporting Blackberrys and other wireless devices
Experience in working with a workstation inventory tool, security patching, and virus protection software
Education Required
High School Diploma
Education Preferred
Associate or BS degree
MSC, MCDST, or MSCE certification
Physical Demands/ Unusual Working Conditions
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Willing to work periodic workdays in excess of eight hours
Available on-call as needed after normal business hours
