***TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH REQUIRED*** Serves as the primary point of contact for all technical support issues. Responsible for supporting the customer workstation operating systems, standalone workstations, and supported corporate applications. Establishes and coordinates user accounts and access requests. Works with other technical support specialists to resolve and escalate service issues relating to network hardware and software. Participates in the installation of desktop hardware and peripherals, collecting, logging and implements technical requirements, task orders, problem troubleshooting and customer service support on all issues and problems related to the network and related elements. (i.e., Microsoft NT\2000\XP, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, etc.). â?¢Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required. â?¢Formal training in the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System (desktop) and applied experience in providing Windows NT\XP LAN administration, support and troubleshooting. â?¢Formal training in current version of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel â?¢Applied experience in providing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel support/troubleshooting. â?¢Formal training in Introduction to Lotus Notes training; applied experience in providing Notes support/troubleshooting. â?¢Formal Training or applied experience with the SRS Remedy problem tracking application, or similar problem management products. â?¢Formal Training in the A+ hardware certification course or one year applied experience in installing â?¢Configuring, and supporting Intel based personal computers. â?¢Applied experience in network and local printer installation and support. â?¢Applied experience in providing customer service/support. â?¢One year applied experience as a Desktop Consultant or related occupation.
â?¢ Any of the following certificates: A+, Net+, Microsoft Windows (MCP,MCDST), IBM Lotus Notes Systems Administration (CLS), HDI (HDM), ITIL (Fundamental Foundations) or Unix cert. of any type. â?¢ Hardware and telephone support desired.
