Responsibilities: Develop new programs and modify existing programs written in COBOL/CICS /DB2 to support mainframe accounting application Perform unit testing, systems integration testing, and user acceptance testing Identify, track, and resolve defects at every stage Understand /analyze complex interactions among applications Contribute to fact-based design discussions/walk-through*s to find optimal technical solutions to business problems Facilitate distribution of mainframe accounting data to a variety of consuming applications on multiple technology platforms Qualifications/requirements: Minimum of 2 years programmer/analyst experience in COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL applications in financial services industry Excellent analytic skills, including the ability to translate written requirements into functional code with minimal supervision Strong testing discipline Experience in financial services trading, accounting and security processing applications a BIG PLUS Oral and written communications skills Ability to work well in a multi-location, diverse international team Familiarity with global trade processing, accounting and reporting a BIG PLUS Exposure to connectivity software (SWIFT, MQueue, etc.) a plus Qualified candidates, Pls send resumes to
