Essential Responsibilities Lead one or more simultaneous Data Warehouse Delivery projects for GE Treasury's Enabling Technology program (a large multi-year business intelligence and data warehousing initiative). Responsibilities include full lifecycle project management, solution design, and overall Data Architecture.

* Lead Data Warehouse Delivery projects, develop and manage complex project plans

* Coordinate complete SDLC activities to meet business requirements for integrated data

* Lead/conduct source system analysis and data integration design

* Identify source data owners and establish a strong working relationship

* Identify/anticipate data requirements and proactively initiate source systems analysis to explore source data

* Analyze and integrate information from disparate systems to create comprehensive data model

* Architect and lead end to end data acquisition matching business requirements

* Establish guiding principles and a reusable methodology for source systems analysis & data acquisition

* Profiling and reverse engineering of source schema/data. Identify DQ issues

* Write SQL to explore source data, data issues, etc.

* Identify impact on existing model/solution triggered by new/changed requirements

* Identify data gaps in harmonized and dimensional data repositories

* Work with data modelers and architects and identify opportunities to reuse existing data structures

* Develop source to target data mappings capturing business rules and logic

* Validate source data populated into the integrated and/or dimensional repositories

* Coach data architects, ETL architects, BI architects, QA analysts on right usage of data

* Work closely with business analysts, end users, developers and QA team to ensure technical compatibility

* Mentor junior staff
Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:

* 4 year college degree in computer science, information systems or finance

* Minimum 8 years of experience leading enterprise level data warehouse delivery projects

* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Architect & Business Analyst in finance/banking/treasury-related business
Eligibility Qualifications:

* Must submit your application for employment through to be considered (Internals via COS)

* Must be 18 years or older

* Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check

* Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc.), data structures, data quality and cleansing strategies and experience analyzing large volumes of data

* Solid knowledge and experiences in dimensional data design/data modeling

* PMP Certified

* Financial Services Industry Experience

* Excellent experience with ERwin

* Prior experience with Informatica

* Experience with global data warehouse implementations
