Comm Systems Engineer 3
Analyzes, models, designs and simulates communications systems, subsystems, and algorithms for communication networks, data links, digital radio, battle management, and command and control systems such as wide and local area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital radio/communications technology and network architecture design. Must be able to research engineering data, technical manuals, and other subject matter experts to develop and sustain technical data and training materials.
Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs and systems. Provides expertise for resolving technical problems, troubleshoots product and modifies product to customer requirements. Provides training to customers. Work may be done at customer site.
Basic Qualifications: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD. Basic computer skills i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point. Candidate must have a current DoD Top Secret clearance and be willing to submit to polygraph. Additionally, the ability to obtain and retain a Program Security Clearance is required as condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of EVMS a plus.
