Requisition Number 37543BR Position Title Commercial Sales Specialist Location of Position Canada-British Columbia-Vancouver Business Group Global Sales & Marketing Relocation Eligible No Position Type Full Time Position Summary The Commercial Sales Specialist is a technical support role within Global Sales and Marketing. This position supports the Rockwell Automation vision, mission and values by supporting sales initiatives, maintaining relationships with customers, and providing assistance to other employees.
Responsibilities:
Engage distributors on processes and assist in training on Rockwell Automationtools, product and processes. Works closely with distributor inside sales teams.
Assist sales account managers in pre and post sales functions (quoting, price comparisons, product crossovers, and sourcing stock).
Assist technical consultants with demos, control and showcases.
Use sales data, pricing information and account knowledge to assist in strategic account growth. Analyze current pricing agreements to enable sales staff to negotiate maximum opportunity for Rockwell Automation within an account.
Support special commercial and training.
Identifies and completes initial qualification of leads.
Researching prospect accounts, gathers information for sales account managers.
Attending sales calls with account managers. Visiting customers when required.
Coordinate various tasks associated with projects as required. Minimum Qualifications College Diploma or Technologist Diploma- Engineering, Electrical Technology, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
Four years of related experience.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem solve and respond to unique situations.
Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment to complete tasks in an innovative way.
Ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.

Able to provide transportation to various sites as required.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with SAP.
Ability to lead a small project team to accomplish a goal.
Ability to perceive the purpose of a project and work towards the end goal.

Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation product lines.
