Apptis is looking for a Communications Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, Virginia!
Responsibilities:
* Perform verification and validation of existing FTS2001 telephone numbers to determine if they are in service. * Identify and establish working relationship with Agency’s points-of-contact for telecommunications. * Gather service and bandwidth requirements from telecommunications managers and other Agency personnel. * Produce spreadsheets, status reports and other documentation as necessary.
Requirements:
* Must be familiar with telecommunications and network systems representative of the services on FTS2001 and Networx contracts, as listed above, including at a minimum voice and circuit switched data. Experience should include provisioning, service delivery, or operations of services. * Must have excellent oral communication skills, an assertive yet patient customer service approach, and good problem-solving skills. * Proficient in MS Office. * 2 years telecommunications experience. * Ideal candidate would have ordering/provisioning or billing exerience at one of the major carriers.
