Job Description and Requirements: USfalcon recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Computer Maintenance Support Technician III to work out of Schriever AFB, Colorado. This position is contingent upon award of contract. Requirements: - 5 years in troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and network operating problems. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, IT and Engineering. Six (6) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education requirement. - IAT Level 2 Certification. - Final Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Duties: - Install, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware; pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration. - Troubleshoot HOSP problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required. - Act as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data, implements solutions or notifies outsource providers as required. - Maintenance, upgrade, and sustainment of the Distributive Mission Operations (DMO) architecture, communications infrastructure, computer (hardware/software) and system backbone. - Networked and stand alone systems at the Unclassified, Secret and Top Secret-SCI classification levels and provides after hours/non-duty hours/on-call support as requested by the Government (approximately 9 systems, 50 servers, 827 CPUs, 7 routers, 38 switches, and 129 Printers). - Engineering, operations, management, maintenance and general support for Local Area Networks (LANs), stand-alone systems and any specialized systems within or used by the government including any associated network/backbone/infrastructure hardware/software. - Computer equipment troubleshooting to isolate faults, make repairs and restore service to systems, and report the status of problem resolution to the affected customer and maintaining a historical record of problem resolution; and, submits a trouble report to the Control/Help Desk. - Computer equipment continuity documentation and maintains preventive maintenance schedules. - Disconnect, move and connect equipment to networks; install, configure, and maintain these systems as well as analyze, troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network anomalies; operate and maintain computer facilities, as well as all current SIDC IT system hardware and software and any new hardware and software specified by the Government and added to SIDC networks during the course of the contract. - Coordinate warranty repair actions for equipment under warranty and perform application loading, troubleshooting, tuning and technical support for hardware and software used within the SIDC. - Packaging and shipping of computer equipment. - Additional duties as assigned.
