We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity ponsible for Planning, Executing and Overseeing the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data processing activities for DCS RAC Contract. Also focus should be on complete automation, error detection and corrective RAC Operations on a 24 x 7 basis including supervising of all jobs during off or weekend ponsibilities:*Plan and create operational schedule for all RAC contract interfaces.*Work closely with Business Operations staff in planning and scheduling.*Work closely with Development staff for automation.*Work closely with IT Security and Client in System Access.*Provides guidance and direction to operations staff to ensure scheduled production is performed in an accurate and timely manner.*Monitors production schedules to ensure compliance to production standards and corporation requirements.*Develops recommendations for the improvement of production processing and support for submission to IT management.*Daily operations reporting.*Oversees the performance of systems and staff in all normal department activities and functions.*Plans and estimates current and future changes in staffing requirement and the scheduling of non-routine tasks.*Escalates sensitive or critical issues to IT management when needed on a real-time basis.*Monitor and report operational issues.*Contributes to the development of strategic resource plans and assists with implementation of these plans.*Monitors computer and network systems to ensure optimization and continued availability of personnel and resources.*Participates in IT project meetings and provides assistance to IT personnel in system and application installations.*Coordinates required resources needed for production support during special activities, technical events, or software implementation.*Performs Computer Operator I level functions as needed.*Approves operations standard work instructions and audits staff performance to identify and ensure 100% compliance uired Skills and Knowledge*Computer room environment working with on-line computer systems.*Evenings, weekends and/or holidays are required.*Must be available (24 hours, 7 days) if needed by cell phone and must be able to respond with short notice to meet critical deadlines or recover from computer failures.*Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds (e.g. paper forms).*Alternative sitting and standing.*Telephone usage.*Date entry.*Excellent SQL and Unix & Java Scripting.*Able to work independently and meet deadlines.*Able to perform individual tasks under pressure on multiple simultaneous tasks.*Excellent project management/organizational skills.*Good attendance and high degree of dependability and availability.*High level understanding and experience of methodologies of Operations processing (i.e. executing backups, running batch production, problem escalation, report and tape processing, etc.)*High level knowledge and capable of providing support of computer systems and networks (including Unix and Windows operating systems, associated hardware/software, network structure and workstation configurations).*3-5 years of computer-related responsibilities with one to three years of IT operations experience at the senior level.*Experience in health insurance computer operations or hospital operations will be a plus.*Bachelors or Associates degree in Business or Computer Science; relevant work experience may substitute for a portion of the educational requirements.
