Description: Generac Power Systems - a leading manufacturer of generators and industrial engines -- is seeking a Configuration BOM Analyst/Programmer for it's Waukesha, WI location.
THE POSITION: A person in this role will work with design engineers, project and product managers, production planners and standards group to create and control the variable product configuration.

THE REQUIRMENTS: 1. Knowledge of configurable BOMs containing the rules, constraints and supplemental information. 2. Knowledge or understating of programming the configuration dialogues. 3. Knowledge and/or understanding of the products offering ? mechanical and electrical, preferable in the power generation or similar industries. 4. Excellent knowledge of Bill of Material practices including structuring, extensive use of phantoms and effectivity date planning 5. MRP (preferably MAPICS) experience 6. Understanding, order entry, production control and inventory control. 7. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD system 8. Strong attention to detail 9. A high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently is essential. 10. Excellent communication skills
