Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated senior operations advocate that has various technology experiences. Under general direction, independently develops, modifies, and implements moderately to highly complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves more complex technical problems. A top level technical contributor in one or more highly specialized phases of application system analysis and programming with strong business application knowledge. May serve as primary system support for two or more complex information systems based on in-depth system knowledge.

Key Accountabilities:
We are looking for a self-motivated, technical professional who has experience and a passion for Configuration Management. The right candidate possesses a strong technical background, enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies, great communication skills and enjoys working with people. This position also has On Call responsibilities for our 24/7 applications/environments, so the right candidate must be able to support off-business hours support, as needed based on an on call schedule. This individual must be able to work on Windows, UNIX/Linux, JAVA and XML. Enjoys working in a dynamic, fast pace operations environment and has the aptitude to learn a variety of technologies.
This configuration management position will be responsible for overseeing and developing the configuration management infrastructure. The primary responsibilities will be to develop and maintain the infrastructure and automation related to build and deployment of the applications, to promote configuration management best practices within the development organization and to increase the efficiency of the build and deployment processes. Must be willing to investigate and share knowledge of industry best practices. Must have good documentation skills. Should be a proactive problem solver, leader, willing to independently research solutions and then bring those solutions back to the team for review and acceptance. May serve as a coach, mentor and advisor to other developers across application teams. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and flexibility in response to changes in strategy or direction. Candidate must also be willing to learn new technologies and implement new tools independently as required.
