Position Description:
Specific Duties: ? Must be able to write Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures. ? All tasks are centered on the development, management, and delivery of contractual data requirements. ? Duties include attending meetings, flowing down policies changes to the program team and performing controlled builds. ? Must be able to communicate appropriately with all levels of project personnel. Must be a detail oriented self starter willing to accept guidance from senior staff members assigned to similar product lines, learn new software skills, and be willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. ? Able to manage shifting priorities. ? Ability to work independently on assigned tasks per Policy and Procedure standards and project schedules. ? Responsible for configuration management planning. ? Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits. ? Responsible for configuration planning identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. ? Responsible for configuration change control. ? Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. ? Responsible for configuration status accounting. ? Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software reports changes and current configuration. ? Responsible for configuration audits. ? Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met by the as-built software. ? Supports software quality assurance process audits.
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 4 years directly related work experience required. Additional Requirements: ? Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required. ? Linux ? Excellent communication skills at all levels within an organization both orally and written. ? Self starter with ability to work on their own with ability to provide leadership and guidance when needed. ? Ability to prioritize and respond dynamically to a changing environment. ? Microsoft Acess, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required ? Must possess good analytical skills. ? Strong Team Leadership ? Must be able to create and implement policies and procedures that will ensure achievement of organization mission goals and objectives.
