Configuration Manager/Software Engineer
STAFFLOGIX is looking for a Software Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Contract Duration: 1 year

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be responsible for performing complex and non-complex configuration management, documentation management and administrative support for the Control and Visualization Business Unit (CVB) of the company. Candidate may also perform non-complex change request verifications, release testing and beta support for assigned products. This position will operate under moderately close supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities
Perform product software builds with notification/description of new builds via email.
Assist in configuration management tasks as specified by the Development Manager, Technical Team Lead and/or Configuration Management Lead.
Develop and review configuration management scripts in support of Configuration Management process automation for product builds and the integration of components.
Write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other related or supporting documentation.
Manage supporting technical documentation including: checking documentation in and out of source control, and posting documents to appropriate websites.
Demonstrate accountability for completing work assignments; meeting commitments and deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Leadership/Change
Continually expand knowledge of the configuration management toolset, including Rational ClearCase and Rational ClearQuest.
Complete work with integrity and ethics.
Take responsibility for continuous development and performance; provide and ask for performance feedback.
Adapt to change by identifying needs, adjusting, and working with others as appropriate to implement initiatives and improvements.
Conduct tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations (state/federal laws, ISO9001, ISO14000, etc.) as well as the company's policies and procedures.

Requirements:
EDUCATION:
BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
3-7 years of experience as a Software Developer or Configuration Management Specialist.
Experience with Rational ClearCase, CruiseControl, VMware
Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows 7 and XP.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio.
Familiarity with the Linux environment
Experience writing scripts with bash shell commands
Experience writing C# code
Possess effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Must be self-motivated, capable of performing and making decisions in a dynamic environment.
Must be able to handle multiple assignments while meeting planned completion dates with minimal supervision.
