ROLE - Work as a service offering technical specialist. - Talk and negotiate with customers, account team, PS and related team members to make a plan of what is the best way to migrate the customer's data from their existing Teradata system to their new Teradata system. - Utilize NPARC or any other method and tools to migrate the data from the existing system to the new one. - Talk and negotiate with customers, account team, PS and related team members to make a plan of what is the best way to backup and restore the customer's data from/ to their Teradata database. - Use ones knowledge, skills and experience of BAR software and hardware products to implement the best BAR solution for the customer. - Complete projects in timely manner. - Contribute to achieve TS revenue target of the team.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 1. Present what are our DMS and/or BAR services and their benefits to our customers. 2. Talk with the customers and other related persons to find the best solution for the DMS/BAR services. 3. Design the best DMS/BAR solution for the customer. 4. Implement the solution and test it to verify if it works as it was designed or as the customer requested. 5. Train the customer so that they can maintain and operate the solution by themselves.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Formal qualification Bachelors' of Science Degree or equivalent experience Work Experience 3 years experience in IT solution delivery, database application development, programming. Technical skills and Knowledge Database application development and implementation Database system installation Software knowledge and experience about Database software and Backup & Restore methodology Hardware knowledge about the devices related to Backup & Restore SQL Linux and Windows Operating System C, VB or any other Programming Language Basic network knowledge
