Territory (if applicable): Corporate Business Unit: Corporate encompasses the core operational support for all Land O'Lakes businesses. It includes Business Development Services, Corporate Market Strategy and Communications, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Information Technology and Public Affairs. Position Purpose: Provide data architecture and design recommendations for enterprise data integration, data quality, master data management, and analytics and reporting. Work closely with internal project teams, application vendors, and industry groups to understand and document business and application requirements. Design analytical and operational applications at a conceptual, logical, and physical level. Audit and validate data integration processes and business requirements. Provide input into technical design estimates and technical specifications. Identify and assist in establishing development standards, quality metrics, and benchmarks. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: 5+ years experience in data architecture and design. 4-year degree required or equivalent experience Required Competencies & Other Skills: Demonstrated understanding of data architecture and integration principles. Strong creative thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Extensive experience in relational and dimensional data modeling. Ability to perform data analysis and profiling. Preferred Experience & Education: Experience with enterprise application development and integration. Understanding of one or more data integration technologies a plus. Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Self-motivated, leadership, and ability to mentor others.
