AllscriptsMisys is currently recruiting for an experienced Analytics and Custom Report Developer to join our Payer Services team. The individual in this position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, maintenance, troubleshooting of value added reports. Responsibilities: . Produces high quality reporting solutions that meet Business Partner contractual agreements. . Produces Programmer and Business Partner documentation for each custom client request. . Evaluates and communicates with the Business Partner to understand and interpret the technical custom specifications for feasibility of custom reports. . Acquires in-depth knowledge of Allscripts product(s) with the ability to interpret custom Business Partner project and contractual requirements. . Produces custom reports for internal or external clients with the goal of automating long term. . Demonstrates a service oriented approach to our Business Partners and internal customers. . Travel to Business Partner sites to perform product demonstrations, custom training, configuration and consultation. Job Requirements: Job Requirements : Experience/Qualifications: . Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server®, is highly preferred . Knowledge of relational databases and proficient understanding of SQL . BS Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Healthcare Informatics or other relevant combination of training and experience. . 2+ years experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools or software development, either as a data analyst or developer; Cognos Reporting tools or Crystal Reports is desirable . Experience with Windows programming languages i.e. Visual Basic, Windows Excel Macros is desirable; . Experience with Windows OS, and Unix OS environments desirable; . Experience with Medical Billing information systems, Payors, Managed Care and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR), strongly preferred . Excellent verbal and written communication skill's required . Strong analytical skills and excellent customer service skills; . Proven ability to meet established deadlines and work independently . Work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment and demonstrates ability to lead team projects . Strong presentation skills
