Job Description:
The data architect will perform: data analysis, data modeling, and platform data architecture activities to capture data requirements. This position will require the candidate to analyze data requirements and create logical and physical models and specification of the data. The data architect will work with the development team to define metrics that can be used as tools to measure the effectiveness of data architecture standard. Will also be responsible for working with the database administrators to develop solutions that meet or exceed performance requirements for high-volume transaction processing and reporting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of successful data architecture experience including:
Minimum of 1 year experience with logical and physical data modeling
Minimum of 1 year experience with one or more of the following databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, MySQL, Sybase, or Informix
Minimum of 1 year experience with ETL / Data migration / Data Integration using one or more of the following ETL tools: Informatica, Ab Initio, Ascential, Oracle Warehouse Builder, DataStage
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience developing large scale IT application and data architecture work products and deliverables throughout development life cycle.
Experience with Cognos, Brio, Business Objects, or Hyperion
Experience with Data Warehouse/ Marts / ODS
Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
