Job Description: The Data Foundation team seeks a strong and experienced candidate to enable transformational change - with the goal of establishing and driving strategic alignment to the charter and priorities within Business Intelligence Services.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:
. Ongoing engagement with leadership teams, stakeholders and partners to deliver the strategic roadmap in alignment with the established Data Foundation charter mandates i.e. Data Architecture, Data Governance, Total Quality Management and Data Operations.
. Shapes the roadmap based on a pragmatic, business oriented approach to solving for the Data Foundation business problems.
. Collaborates work effort across the Data Foundation ORG Pillars on strategy and execution alignment.
. Lead Data Foundation engagement and drive inputs into the strategic roadmap on new data requirements, consolidation strategies, new/changes to business rules, hierarchies, attributes, data policies and associated governance.
. Drives roadmap and execution plan alignment with IT partners.
. Provides execution direction to the Delivery leads and mitigates challenges/escalations as requisite.
. Work with Enterprise program teams to represent and drive critical engagement and articulate execution focus for Data Foundation impact.
. Drives budget assessments and forecasting- in alignment with the Data Foundation strategic roadmap.
. Drive adherence to the Data Mart and ad-hoc reporting strategies.
. Be the engagement liaison representing Data Foundation on Portfolio management.
. Align roadmap initiatives in alignment with the security strategy and policies established.
. Foster innovation, drive Industry leadership and alignment.

Further, this lead will be also responsible for driving strategic alignment with related data strategy teams, governance committees and forums to ensure alignment across Cisco.
In this matrixed and staffed organization, this lead will need to influence across multiple functions and organizations.
This role will need to partner cross-functionally with various organizations. The individual in this role must effectively engage with senior leaders across Cisco.

Key Skills Required:

Typically requires Bachelor of Science, or equivalent University degree plus 10-12 years experience in key business architecture roles aligned with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. Advanced degree strongly preferred.

. Intrinsic knowledge of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms and hands on working experience on OBIEE platforms, and other platforms (e.g. Business Objects, Essbase)
. Very strong background and acumen on Data Warehousing strategies and Enterprise application integration
. Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and deliver working across boundaries
. Strong customer focus with a keen ability to "connect the dots" across the diverse application and data terrains
. Strong business partnership skills and ability to work cross-functionally
. Strong business analyst background
. Excellent communication and influencing skills, Interpersonal skills and relationship building, Conflict Management and negotiation skills
. Passion to drive constant innovation and improvements, deliver results consistently and effectively, demonstrate a can-do attitude
. Strong Planning and Execution skills around project and task management balancing "quality" deliverables and risk mitigation
