Job Description:
ASRC Research and Technology Solutions (ARTS), a Subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is currently seeking a Data Management/Configuration Management Specialist III in Greenbelt, MD.
Responsibilities:
Roles/Responsibilities: * Mid-level support needed to assist in managing Directives/Data and Configuration Management for the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) . * Provide Directives/Data and Configuration Management support for the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) for the development and management of the release process for their Management System (MS) documentation into the Goddard Directives Management System (GDMS). * Support the directorate by coordinating and reviewing, with the documentation owners, of all Code 500 AETD MS documents to validate their compliance with GPR1410.1. * This will include use of the correct template, verification of approvals and effective/expiration dates. * Documents found to be non-compliant shall be coordinated with the document owner to make compliant or be remove from GDMS. * This position requires posting approved documents to the Center MS and tracking expired documents to ensure AETD documents are updated or canceled, as appropriate.
Experience/Education:
Requirements: * Must have knowledge of CM processes and knowledge of a typical GSFC Project's work flow. * Must be familiar with the Microsoft Suite of products. Must have strong interpersonal skills, must be able to work in a team environment, have strong verbal and written communication skills. * Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/work permit requirements for access to NASA GSFC. * Bachelors degree and three years of experience or four years of experience in lieu of education.
