TEKsystems is seeking a seasoned Data Modeler (ER Studio) for a six month s will require a consultant with a minimum of 3-5 years of complex data modeling experience. This will also require a consultant that has performed complex Data Modeling in both the Operational and Data Warehouse space. The consultant must have experience with the following data modeling techniques/concepts/tasks in addition to the technical requirements listed under the technology section:-Creating Logical Data Models-Creating Physical Data Models-Normalized Database Design/data modeling-Denormalized Database Design/data modeling-Dimensional Modeling-Creating Entity Diagrams-Creating DDLs with a DBA-Setting storage parameters with a DBA-Reverse Engineer a Data Model once it is implemented-Data Analysis-Following SDLC-Ability to work on Data Warehouse and Non-Data Warehouse Applications-Data Modeling with ER Studio by EmbarcaderoThe Data Modeler will own the Applications and Models they are working on so they will have to be able to work very well independently as well in a cross functional team capacity. The various teams this person will interact with are Applications Teams and Infrastructure teams and many other technical groups. This technical professional will be responsible for multiple projects at once so must be able to own/handle these multiple projects. These projects could be directly for the Data Warehousing group but could also be for other IT groups . This is a 6 month contract with potential extension.
