We have an immediate need for an Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence Developer, Principal in our Aliso Viejo, (Orange County) CA, corporate headquarters. With minimal supervision, you will develop, implement and maintain Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. Additional responsibilities include: Responsibilities for extract, transform, load (ETL) development. Reports and Dashboard development Working with business users and other IT team members to assist in the identification of requirements for clear design and spec build. Communicating with external support resources to assist in the coordination of support and development tasks. Conducting unit, integration, and user testing to ensure accuracy and quality of solution delivery. Production support. You will be recognized as fully qualified in your area of expertise. You will exercise independent judgment in the formulation of original techniques and methods. You may be asked to provide immediate technical direction to lower level co-workers. You will be expected to have considerable impact on operating policy and effectiveness and work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires a review of identifiable factors. The work you perform will have impact at the Corporate IT level. Additional requirements include: Required Skills Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent in training and experience, and a minimum of 8 years related experience. Must possess excellent communication and people skills. Extensive Informatica development/configuration implementation experience Data Warehouse design and data modeling experience Strong Cognos Report/Dashboard development experience and skillsets Informatica Data Quality and other Informatica tools, a plus Master Data Management experience, a plus Oracle ERP Apps and Database experience, a plus Thorough understanding of core ETL architectural principles Thorough understanding and practical application of relational and dimensional methodologies Other ETL tool experience (Data Stage, Cognos Data Manager, etc.), a plus Other Business Intelligence tool experience (Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), a plus THE COMPANY Founded in 1994, QLogic Corporation (Nasdaq QLGC) is a leading supplier of high-performance networking solutions.
